I highly recommend Six Star to anybody for their Subaru needs! Had a IAG 750 closed deck installed along with upgraded fuel system and turbo and all supporting mods and hit some awesome numbers on the Dyno with JR Tuned.. Jay at Six Star really made me feel like family and kept me in the loop through the whole build. Wouldn't take my car anywhere else.
Jay tried to rip me off, and when I sensed it, he refused to service my car. I found this place online to replace the transmission fluid on my Subaru Outback. I called ahead to get a quote. When I took the car in today, I wanted a written quote, but the quoted price was $150 more than what I'd been quoted two days earlier. I’ve been bringing my cars here for a few years - my Subarus and my Volvo too - and the guys always do a great job. I can always trust that they do their best and I’ve never had an issue with any of the work I’ve had to have done. Six Star has a great team that works well together and they are always ready to help whenever they can. This shop has become a favorite for me to have my cars repaired, or adding in any aftermarket upgrades. I found my go-to shop and I’m sticking with them.
Jay told me my car's turbo was dead, and so is the block. He then gave me a low ball offer to buy my car because it was totaled. I towed it to a different shop. They found 0 problems with the car. Jay is a dishonest technician. I wouldn't trust anyone who has this technician on their staff.
I've been going to Six Star since I got my Subaru a year ago. I wouldn't trust anyone else in the area with my car. Subaru or not, I highly recommend people take their vehicle here for the upmost care. Jay and the team are beyond helpful and super nice. Do yourself a favor and go to Six Star!
