High ceilings with lots of light This place ended up being a great apartment for us, but it definitely had a few problems. Pros: protected complex in a nice neighborhood, very close to the beach. Buildings only have 4 attached apartments so you share a max of two walls (no one above or below you). You have a small yard. Big windows, tall ceilings, good square layouts that don't waste a lot of space. LOTS of storage. Cons: buildings are kind of old and a lot of features feel run down (carpets, showers, kitchen cabinets, etc).... read more
Small and old, but lots to love This apartment is great if you want to have some of the appeal of a house or condo, but don't have the budget. While the units do not have their own washer and dryer, a garage, or dishwasher, they do feel as though you are living without too many neighbors (especially end units) and have a little space to spread out in your own yard.
