They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I feel like my appointment was pointless. They seemed like they were extremely irritated to be at work, and that they couldn't wait for me to leave. They didn't seem to want to help anyone. I was in a lot of pain during my visit that I feel could have definitely been avoided if they had been more careful. They were extremely late to all my appointments. I couldn't believe how patient they were with first-time mothers. It didn't matter how basic the first-time mother's question was, they were always happy to spend time explaining everything to them. After I told them that I'd like to seek a second opinion, not only did they not get upset, they encouraged it. It made me trust them and their motives all the more. I choose Dr. Sivam becuase she was referred to me through colleagues. I stayed with her for three years too long. My children were afraid of her she said to my daughter, "if you don't take your medicine I am going to hang you by your toe nails" My daughter at 2.5 years didn't understand that this was a joke. She also didn't support my breast feeding efforts and once when I wanted to get a second opinion on a health matter she said that if I didn't follow her advice she would no longer be my child's pediatrician.
