Doctor wanted me to educate him. Didn't care about my problem. Wouldn't give me any information or possible course of treatment. Wouldn't share or explain my test results.
Staff is thoughtful & friendly. Best part of the visit. The doctor himself provides little patient care. Very dismissive & flippant with patient concerns. Provides little to no education about conditions. You feel like your bothering him & that your future health care isn't in good hands. Find a better doctor!
I had to talk to him after my Mom’s last visit, and he didn’t want to explain his recommended treatment and reasons, even that I have talked and seen him before. He said he can only do Chemotherapy and he had nothing else to say (which of course part of his business in his office is Chemo) and that he has nothing else to explain or to do. As I live out of the FL state, I just wanted to discuss options after all the studies and labs done. He hung up the phone on me in a very disrespectful way!
Stay away. Unprofessional and lacking in training, he and his staff should be avoided.
The Miller family would not recommend this Dr. When you tell a patient short of casterating you there's nothing more I can do. Scary definitely find another doctor.
His staff are awesome! Very friendly. He's not terrible bedside manner. Would not recommend.
Dr. Bellam's cancer care saves and extends lives, restores strength and energy, and helps keep the brain function normal. I've been his patient for a couple of years now. I want to live and do well until I'm 102 I have years to go but the support I get from Dr. Bellam and his friendly, caring, helpful staff give me hope of feeling well and being useful for years to come! Being in his office is like visiting good friends.
Practice is going downhill. Waiting is crazy and care is more like a free clinic, less of a private practice. Since his main nurse has been out sick - there's no compassion or quality care. Where is she??????
