I have no idea what I would have done without Dr. Marans help. He is a great doctor I am grateful he helped me with surgery.

Appt. at 6:30 p.m. Saw him at 9:30 p.m. Patient waiting room I was in had an overflowing large trash can filled with wipes from prior patient exams. One missed the can and landed on the floor next to exam table which I didn't need. Staff were all very nice. Doc clearly taking his time and taking breaks between patients as I could see him through the glassed in reception area. Overall cleanliness of place was unacceptable to me. Stacks of papers in lab and office area. Not going back.

I had a return visit after my testing, gave me meds and asked to wait 6 no that's which I did although having g terrible leaving stomach pains....had sent in a request for Nassau meds which can said doc redused..so Monday before my nov appt, I called the office to confirm the time.which seems strange at 7pm,office said YES correct..time I was there are 7pm, office was closed, doc was in there but shook his head no..called to reschedule ANOTHER month away..NOT HAPPY

My husband was scheduled for a colonoscopy. He was told to be there at 10am and the procedure was supposed to begin at 10:30am. We were advised by a staff member at the hospital that Dr. Maran is notorious for being late. We figured it would be 20min or so late, but no! At 12:00pm, the doctor had still not shown up to the hospital and all of the staff made it clear that this was normal. At that point, my husband had not eaten in 36 hrs and his blood sugar was at 50! We left! Don't go to him!
