Guy knows his VWs
This shop is the place to go if you have a VW bug, bus, etc. that you want to put in good hands. I was getting ready to drive my 73 bug from PA to NC and they resolved some important issues to prep is for the trip at very fair prices. No hours listed but he was generally open 8:30 am to 5 pm when I talked to them.
Took my 1973 Super beetle here they really know their stuff here. I will definitely be returning should I need any more work done. Very knowledgeable and helpful.
John has been an air cooled VW guy for, I don't know, forty + years now? I brought my buses, bugs, things and more to him from my beginnings with VW's maybe 35+ years ago. I grew up in Gretna which made his location convenient. Now these mechanics are hard to find. I recently visited John, and yup, he is still doing a top notch business and he remembered me! I am back into the air cooled scene and if you need service or just some advise, give him a visit, you'll be happy you did.
