Site for Sore Eyes Recommended Site for Sore eyes has a good selection of eye wear; and they have done very well with my issues when I was diagnosed with diabetes. My eyes were changing, and a pair they made for me just did not work out. They credited me the amount and got me a different pair when my eyes stabilized. When I found the pair of glasses in the glove box of my car had cracked due to the heat, they replaced them. I had insurance, but they did not charge me the fee I would normally pay on the insurance. stay very far away from this place I feel compelled to write a review for the âSite For Sore Eyesâ on Battery St. in San Francisco due to a series of unfortunate events that transpired over the last few days; I wanted to get new glasses so I scheduled an appointment for Friday, everything went OK until Sunday morning I woke up with sore red eyes and mucous draining from my eyes. Site for Sore Service. I'd rather go blind than go back to these people. If you don't know what's right for you they'll surely miss lead you into the most expensive prescription they can. I have never worn glasses before and was told progressive lenses are the way to go for me. Great Place to get your eyes check w/o an appointment I came in here for a quick eye exam in between lunch, they had quick services, and was very helpful. The people were willing to look up the insurance and anything else you need. The doctor is very nice, and approach most issue with a lot of tact and professionalism. I had wonderful help choosing glasses there, and the frames were all pretty nice, although a bit on the expensive side, but what glasses aren't? Good Deal I go here for check ups aside from my other health plan. I buy my contact lenses here and they gave free frames( $129 - contact lenses for the whole year plus free frame) Wow. Staffs are friendly and efficient and the place is clean. Sometimes you get to smell something familiar - well, its located downtown of San Francisco!
I will never go here again I went here once and I will never forget how awful everything about it was. I was going in for contacts for the first time. I left feeling rushed, abused and like I was an inconvience to them--just by being a customer. I would never recommend this place to anyone! The service was just horrible. The prices were bad. Everything about it was just awful. Go somewhere else!!!!
Good eyeglass and contact store I have also been to the Berkeley location and found both to be clean and pretty efficient. The wait wasn't long and I was able to fill in an order for contacts immediately after my check up. My only complaint is that they seemed to give me the wrong prescription, as I can't see clearly in one side of my contacts..
