My foster dog Tina was so fear aggressive. We had tried trainers and behaviorists and she just wasn't getting any better. It was time to do something serious. I was told about sit means sit and I thought - why not. The first time Tina met Ryan she was like a raven maniac. She was on her hind legs, ripped off her muzzle and chewed through a leash. Ryan had his work cut out for him. He worked hard to be able to get her to trust him enough to unmuzzle her so that he could take her 2 weeks for a board and train. Tina did fabulou... read more

My wife and I are very happy we discovered this company. We wanted to bring a new dog into our family but we needed to have our male yorkie's aggression issue dealt with. This company has helped us manage this to a large degree. He needed to learn how to get along with a puppy as well as how to share our attention . It's great to see him interact with her. He is also controlled now on leash much better and does wonderfully off leash in listening to commands. He is a head strong Monster Yorkshire Terrier (18 lbs.) that is won... read more

My dog is much better behaved after 3 private lessons, he still needs much work on my part, but now I feel like I have options for improving his behavior. The staff at Sit Means Sit Dog Training in Minneapolis are very good at what they do, they also are very caring.

Marley learns so much here. Every time I have a question or new thing that I would like him to learn all the staff is right there with all the information that you would need. From basic obedience to walking on a treadmill. Recommend them to anyone that is looking to get a new dog or someone that has an older dog that needs a little help getting the under control.

Came in doubting but left a true believer! We're having such wonderful direction and support from the staff at Sit Means Sit. We have the tools we needs to help our dog, Keeper, be a real member of the family. He needs clear, consistent messages from us and we learned how to do just that. Thank you so much Sit Means Sit staff. We're singing your praises to everyone we know who has a dog.

Odin has significantly changed in such a short time. I was so stressed to have her in my car, she would whine and jump around. Now she sits peacefully in her spot while looking out the window. She never responded to my calls and would wonder into the street. Now she knows her boundaries and comes when called. She used to blow me off and do as she pleased. She responds to my commands and is much more alert to my voice. I feel like she respects me now, I'm very pleased with the training that me and Odin have received.
