Sit and Kit is a true gem for families in Bellevue and Redmond. We've been there several times—once for a birthday party and again for a drop-in craft afternoon—and each visit was genuinely special. The studio is colorful, cozy, and full of well-organized craft kits that invite curiosity and creativity. My child immediately felt at home and dove into the activities with joy and confidence. We had such a great experience at Sit and Kit for our Girl Scout vision board activity! It’s the perfect place to host a birthday party or creative gathering — especially if you want to outsource the crafts and keep the mess out of your house! The owner is incredibly creative and welcoming, and she created an environment where the girls were totally engaged and having fun. The music added to the upbeat vibe, and she took care of all the cleanup. We highly recommend Sit and Kit for your next party or event!
Edit 5/28/25: Is there a statute of limitations for reviews? Yes, I hosted a party 2 years ago, but as I mentioned in my original review, both my children have since attended parties for their friends in the last 2 years on 2 separate occasions, and my husband and I have observed the same abrasive behavior. Yes, I left a generous tip. There were 2 other young employees there helping at the party that day, and my hope was that they would be amply compensated. I hosted my daughter’s party here and since then both my kids have attended parties here. Overall, it’s a fun experience for the price. My only gripe is the teacher can be pretty snarky and sarcastic. It’s pretty off putting. It doesn’t matter the age, she’s even snarky with 4-yos. For this reason, I’ve never sent my kids to a camp here.
