I have spent 4 hours over the course of a month trying to get my elderly parents' landline repaired. They still do not have a working phone and I can't get anyone to tell me when or if it is going to be fixed. Terrible customer service. Unacceptable that this has gone on so long while my parents continue to pay for "service" they are not receiving.

Highly unreliable and bad service. Goes completely out about once every 1-2 months and when you call, they say they will fix it in a week. Other times slows down to unusable speeds. Seemingly they can only stay in business because they’re the only option in some areas. Went out on me today, was told they could fix it a week from now, I am canceling and switching to T Mobile 5G.

Internet outages happen contestantly, or the routers that they make you rent aren't worth it either.

If I could give CenturyLink zero stars, I would. The only reason I kept their service was because my mother needed it, but now that she asked me to cancel, I’m thrilled I no longer have to deal with this company. If CenturyLink genuinely cared about their customer service experience, they could be so much better. They don’t answer the phone for questions or even to cancel service. Do better, CenturyLink.
