I have doctored here my entire life and experienced almost every service. SCH is phenomenal in every way. The physicians are wise and wonderful people. I have delivered two children here, and my OB experiences were unforgettable.

Female dr on duty evening of July 2 2025 in the ER had a holier than thou attitude, clearly on a power trip trying to say my wife should've driven to Sheldon when she was in extreme pain! I wouldn't go here even if I was dying! Id give no stars if it was possible!

If you are pregnant or planning to be and debating on providers, look no further, because they are incredible here! Between the routine clinic visits, radiology, labor & delivery & postpartum care, you will feel heard, cared for & supported. (The food is also amazing- it’s not your classic “hospital food!”) We were new to the area, and I am a second time mom, so we didn’t know much about Sioux Center Health from experience. Now looking back, I wish that I had Dr. Junk & her team for my first born! My visits were never rushed... read more

Personally it's gotten worse here. I used to get answers and had a fine visit, but my last appointments it's a longer wait time, and the doctors hardly seem to want to help with your issue. And you always get the runaround and no answers/solutions. I also came into the ER once recently and the lady was very rude. Made me seem like I was making my pain up and manipulating me saying "well you look fine". Well, if I felt fine, why would I be in the ER? lol!. I personally will not be doctoring here anymore.

I have been seeing my primary care provider for several years and I really liked her. She listened to me and really seemed to care. Now it's like she doesn't listen to me at all. When I look at my notes in the patient portal a lot of my information is inaccurate. I feel like she just pacifies me when I come in. I am definitely going to be looking for another provider.
