My expectations were exceeded. This is a great little accommodation with all the amenities one could hope for. The property is incredible- 3 miles of hiking paths/bike paths, mountain laurel blooming everywhere (May visit). Plenty of fire wood was provided. The owners, Christy and Rick, are extremely nice and accommodating and will share their input abut the local area if asked. Fantastic location and property. I love this area for its mountain biking and everything that goes with it. The Shack is centrally located to all the great trails in the area. The hosts were awesome, and the Shack has everything you need for your stay. I also loved the morning and evening visits by the dogs. I will definitely stay there for future visits to that area.

Wonderful place to retreat to and recharge in nature! The shack is even better and larger than one can see in the pictures, and Christy is an amazing host, fully dedicated to meet her guests' needs. The mountain, the setting, the little touches, the backyard trail, the cleanness and safety feeling on the property, all are inviting you to slow down, enjoy yourself, and rejuvenate!
