I’ve agonized over removing this large water oak from my yard for years. It’s not an easy decision. It was beautiful, provided abundant shade, and fed the birds and squirrels I enjoy so much. But it was only 50 ft from the house and had grown to about 100 ft tall. The direction of the wind when storms come didn’t help either.
