Financial aid aka Maria Salto took a whole a month to tell me they hadn’t reviewed my application (I replied to email that replied to me and apparently that was the wrong one). By that time, my situation had changed and I had applied to Medicaid the previous week. I ended up having to go to ER to get 2 blood transfusions and got colonoscopy at cook county hospital (after waiting in the emergency room for 8 hours) bc I waited so long. This is a great hospital might in fact be the one of the best. The care and treatment given will be exerted to individualize your needs. The Dr's. are amazing, even house keeping is very kind/caring and has hospitality...besides a few of the nurses such as Patricia on the 6th floor for example. The food could be better but that's expected. Overall I would highly recommend. (P.S. The Lawndale Team is your A Team!)
Was Referred to get an EKG here and all the staff i encountered and spoke to was great and kind !
The staff is competent and good at their job. I felt like that wanted to be there and liked what they do. I would give a 5 star but the facilities weren’t the best but I still received top tier care.
Had been having the worst hospital experiences here came at ultrasound some lady acting like a karen and was asking me personal questions and aacting smart so i decided to talk to manager and they made me wait still to long these hospital needs better service
