We are in the process of building a new home in Athens, AL with DR Horton and have been told Sims-Lohman in Huntsville is the contractor for the cabinets in the house we are building. Our house is scheduled to be complete within the next month or so. I live in a new house in Huntsville, Alabama and after 3 years,a cabinet over the refrigerator was falling,even though I put only plastic containers in the cabinet. I contacted the manufacturer and the manufacturer contacted the installer. The installer,Sims-Lohman sent a technician,Brandon to my house to fix it. The appointment was made to visit 10am to 2pm,he called me before 10am and arrived in a few minutes. He looked at the cabinet and fixed it in about 35 minutes. My wife and I spoke with the Sims Lohman about our cabinets and communicating with them has been rough to say the least. We were told that they’d send someone out for us today at 9:00 AM, but when I called for an ETA they didn’t remember us; and when they did find out who we were, they said it would be in an 11 ’o clock window. When I brought this up, the woman I spoke to (Kenille Barton) was rude and laughed at me for calling at 9:04 about a 9:00 appointment. Kennielle with Sims-Lohman was extremely unprofessional the entire time. When voicing our concerns about the cabinets installed in our new home she constantly laughed at those concerns. We were told on the phone that someone would be coming to repair the cabinets Friday, February 2nd at 9 am. When calling Ms. Kennielle to ask if they were on their way, she proceeded to tell us they only had openings for 11 am and informed my husband that she had no record of there being an appointment being set up for us.
