I recently had my two front dental crowns replaced. For a while I had been experiencing problems with my old crowns and they'd been deteriorating for a few years. I chose to have the previous crowns in Thailand because it was cheaper. Unfortunately, the materials they used were also cheap. For some reason, the metal posts under the crown became 'rusty', which caused major swelling around the gums and infected the roots of both teeth.
