Local Wedding professional I am a local wedding professional and I work with many brides on a daily bases. When I got engaged I had everything from the DJ to the invitations covered. The only thing I didn't have covered and the most important was the dress. I started asking my vendors who they would choose because I wanted to give local a choice and 8 out of 10 said Simply Grand. Great Service & Prices It's a nice shop with a large variety of dresses. Right when I went in they asked how they could help me and what I was looking for. I wanted a bridal gown for less than $200.00 and she gave me a lot of options to choose from.
Thank you Simply Grand My daughter had wanted to begin her wedding gown search in Portland, but I suggested that we check out the local option first. While she wasn't very excited about the first two shops we went to, we were delighted with the selection, staff and welcoming manor of Simply Grand. They made shopping for wedding gowns fun! They were not pretentious and snotty, but they put us at ease and made us feel special. My daughter found a breathtaking gown here and was delighted.
Making wedding dreams come true World Class is right! Before I found this lovely little shop on High St. in Salem, Oregon, where I felt just at home, I had visited several other bridal shops, where I was made to feel like a number!
Professionalism???? Not sure if I would recommend this establishment. Most employees are very young and don't always seem to be able to answer questions customers have. Owner only works Saturdays. Couldn't believe I found my BM dresses and tuxes all in one place. Ordered my BM dresses in April, was told 8 weeks. Called 9-10 weeks later and no one knew when they would be in. Salem's Gem I went to Portland first and did not find the dress of my dreams. Although the Portland shops were friendly and attentive (Charlotte's) they were very expensive and many of the dresses I could barely get on (I'm a 14-16). Simply Grand was WONDERFUL. The dresses were two-three hundred less expensive and they were so patient. I tried on two dresses three times, then had my friend try them on and my mother! First Class Treatment! 2000 max characters? I could go on forever! Simply Grand is Wonderful. I was stupid by not discovering them sooner (bought my dress from another vendor), but was glad I found them in time for my flower girl and bridesmaid. The flower girl dress was the wrong size and they took care of it with no question! It wasn't even their mistake! My BM dress was gorgeous and the alterations team does a perfect job.
