We drove all the way from Kansas City specifically to try Simply Falafel, but unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. An older employee who appeared to work in the kitchen was sitting on the balcony and smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. We wanted to sit outside, but the smoke odor was affecting our baby’s breathing, so we could not use the balcony. Simply Delicious! My wife and I got the family platter for two and it was more than enough. Service was great; the person running the counter was very friendly and I loved that she noticed and welcomed back repeat customers. It felt very friendly in there. In addition to the exceptional service, the food was amazing! We started with a salad and hummus with pita and that was definitely the best hummus I've ever had; very smooth with great flavor. As a chef I will be coming back, I feel like the Lord led us to the slumply falafel and I had not one bad experience in there at all the owner. Sweet wonderful man. Told us a bunch of secrets about the food. Love it! My wife is trying to recreate his dressing at home. I brought her up here. She tasted it and fell in love with the place. This is a good place for vegans and meat eaters of life
Great lunch spot. Would be the best restaurant in Edmond if they went back to Coke products. As it is, great food at awesome prices.
