Simply Bee's PHP/IOP programs were well-structured and truly trauma-informed. The staff and therapists are excellent. They created a safe, nonjudmental space where I felt supported. I’m so grateful for their patience throughout my journey. My only wish is that their outpatient therapy accepted more insurance plans, as I would love to continue my care with them.
My child experienced a severe mental health crisis while enrolled in Simply Bee. After starting antidepressant medication for the first time, they developed intense and constant suicidal ideation, which is a known risk when beginning these medications. They disclosed during their Simply Bee check-ins that they were relapsing with self-harm behaviors and experiencing severe, active suicidal thoughts. Not sure why we have such a bad experiences but in pretty disappointed we spent so much time on this. Extremely unprofessional. Rescheduled three times. The last one was less than two hours before the appointment was scheduled. I was left a voice message letting me know and in the message they stated they sent me an email along with my child's father. It turns out they didn't even send the email to the right parent.
