This is a shop full of wonders! They display museum pieces as well as a variety of rocks from all over the world, in states from raw to faceted and polished. I went in to get some geodes opened, and decided this place is worth a full afternoon of exploring and listening. Jack and Ben, father and son, were full of stories and expertise. The place across the street has delicious milk shakes, so it's a complete trip! Beware: they're not open Saturdays when the weather is nice because they, of course, are on an expedition.

I visited the shop with my grandkids today and Jak the owner spent almost an entire hour showing us around the shop. It was very fun and interesting and the kids loved it. After Jak finished showing all the cool rocks, gems, fossils, bones, etc. he let the kids pick out some polished rocks, crystals, arrow heads and even some pieces of fossilized dinosaur bones to keep for free!!
