Great place, delicious food, coffee, smoothies. Rating a 3 because they had a sign "use local, organic food whenever possible" or something like that. They no longer have that sign and it appears they use non-organic, non local products and lower quality ingredients now. I know food costs are rising due to our government, but it's still a bummer that there isn't an option for organic and almost any cafe in Asheville. Would happily take this down if I'm incorrect.
Was here several years ago and it was awesome. I want to love it, but just can’t. My mom and I went a few days ago for lunch. I got the breakfast burrito and it was a total dud, which seems like a tricky thing to…make bad? It hardly had any eggs (about the length of my finger), they were SO salty, and with the exception of salt overkill (is salt a flavor?) it lacked flavor. First visit and had the Rachel which is the vegan Reuben sandwich on GF bread. EXTREMELY delicious and really loved the tempeh and sauce. Learned that Simple is owned by Gypsy Queen owner. No wonder this place is so good!!! Highly recommend and will be coming here MUCH MORE often. I didn't realize it was more than a juice bar.
it's a cozy little place that is very calm with friendly staff serving up good fresh food.
