We have been customers of Simple since they opened and are delighted they are in the neighborhood. First, Abby, the store owner, knows the products intimately and is so very helpful with any questions we have. She continually looks for new vendors who will serve our needs. While I regularly buy household products here (dish soap, laundry detergent, shampoo, etc), I have also used them to get Holiday stocking stuffers and last minute, unusual, gifts. The store has great variety. An excellent addition to the neighborhood.

This is wonderful neighborhood asset that we are so lucky to have in the Inner Sunset-Cole Valley area. Its products are unique and ingenious, enabling one to buy items that just cannot be found in conventional stores - products that truly make a difference for the environment. Particularly with the bulk product opportunities, the pricing is no more, and often less, than one would pay elsewhere as Simple does not need to pass on expensive packaging costs. (Edited to share that I buy my Meow Meow deodorant now directly from the small business Meow Meow for less than half the price of the same product at Simple. Of course I would not compare Simple to Costco or Amazon) This place sells all my favorite products. Also, their prices are 2-3X what you will pay if you buy directly from the companies they sell. Fantastic in a pinch when you’ve run out and your next shipment hasn’t arrived yet (or you don’t have storage for a subscription amount of goods).
