As a new patient I was kinda concerned with the reviews. As a nurse I can be a critic when it comes to care. From the front desk all the way through to the time I walked out the door was a very pleasant experience. Everyone was very nice. The Dr was very precise. Waiting on the insurance to approve the test and then I will give another review, which I am sure will be glowing. My blood sugar was dropping and I told the front that I needed to run to my truck and she said no need we have snacks right here. Very compassionate
If you have severe gastrointestinal issues, you will be mismanaged by Dr. Simonian. It is very clear that their front office is disorganized and it is easy to fall through the cracks. If you manage to not be overlooked, you will pay copay after copay while they try to squeeze every bit of revenue they can out of your insurance and give you no real treatment or answers. I was bleeding to death and he wanted to send me home. Thank goodness that I found another caring doctor that found the intestinal bleeding issue and through surgery saved my life. Do not use this doctor!!!!!!
Takes forever after we show up early for our scheduled appt. Once we see him, he makes jokes that are passively rude and uncalled for. Doesn't seem to really listen or care, just has an arrogant attitude when you try to speak. Scheduling team is also a nightmare and it shows lack of communication even though they are nice.
Worst doctor ever! He “treated” me at Baptist Hospital and gave me half a dozen diagnoses with no actual testing. He was very dismissive and does not listen to a patient or their needs. Come to find out after years of being on a medication that I was allergic to that he kept prescribing was the bulk of my GI issues. When approached with this concern he told us he doesn’t like prescribing medication although continues to do so! I would not recommend this doctor for my dog let alone a fellow human being.
