I would give zero stars if I could. I was in the hospital due to diabetes and they would not schedule me a follow up because there was a balance… I paid literally 200 dollars each visit which was virtual and with the PA. I saw the doctor one time and talk to PA for about 2 mins each virtual visit. They ignored my message when I asked if I could do a payment plan. The doctor told her front desk billing people that I need to find a different doctor
I’ve previously been a patient of another large Diabetes & Endochronology group for almost 20 years. I was very unhappy with that group and sought another option. Dr. Scumpia and her great group immediately recognized several issues I was having (like being insulin resistant-Levemir or Lantus). I’ve only been to Dr. Scumpia’s office but twice, but both visits have been superb, with immediate check in (love the fact that even check-in and arrival is done online) and very short wait times. Pretty disappointing place. I wouldn’t rely on this office if you need reoccurring medications or see a doctor regularly. Dr. Simona Scumpia comes into the room, doesn’t make eye contact, asks two questions, types on computer and leaves as fast as she can. She does not educate the patient. She told me to research Hashimotos myself. It felt very impersonal. I’m writing this review while sitting on hold for 15 minutes just to reschedule and ask to replace my prescriptions.
