I don't know if I posted one a few years ago I saw Dr scapula, she is a good doctor she does know her business, but very rude very impersonable, and my insurance had changed and they never let me know it that it doesn't cover her anymore, but that day I saw her I had to have my shot for osteoporosis, the front desk got mad and yelled at me through and of the whole office heard we don't take your insurance, but I still stayed in persisted because I need my shot, so Dr scapula agreed they gave me the shot, after I got the shot... read more
No communication, all about the money. Constantly ordering more unnecessary tests that you have to pay for up front because they say your insurance won't cover them. My insurance said they would have covered all but 1 of the tests that were ordered, and that the doctor's office should have tried to bill my insurance company first. Dr. Scumpia refused to listen to anything I had to say, and tried to force drugs on me that I was allergic to, and then got mad at me for not taking them. Dr. Scumpia has been my endocrinologist since 2002. Her comprehensive approach to my healthcare and screenings has kept me healthy and vibrant for over two decades now! She is extremely knowledgeable and has taught me how to make healthy choices to stay on track. She keeps up with the latest research and medical advances and is always on the cutting edge. Greedy! Doesn’t have any kind of sliding scale or payment plan, but will have the office call and harass you to make an appointment and threaten to remove you from their patient roster if you don’t come in. $175 just to see her, IN HOUSE labs are over $2k!Awful bedside manner, I think people try to blame it on her being Eastern European or something. as in all doctors offices, there’s always a wait time, so that’s a given. but everyone who helped me throughout my entire appointment was very pleasant. from front desk, to the person who checked my vitals and took my info, to the one who took my labs, were all very efficient
