Excellent at every step of the way. He is knowledgeable, competent, patient, caring. I was anxious and he put me at ease. I have many comorbities and he worked well with all my other physicians. I had a cervical dissectomy with cadaver grafts, built a cage inserted and inserted a plate and screws. 21 years ago I had 3 levels of spinal fusion. A couple of years ago I started having pain in my right SI joint. I sought treatment with pain management and received injections that were initially effective. It was suggested that I speak with Dr. Salerno about the possibility of fusing the SI joint. To say it was the best thing I could have done is an understatement. Dr. Salerno skillfully did my fusion and although I am only two weeks out, I would say I have 90% improvement.
