Did not get past the appointment line It was my son's first dentist appointment. The receptionist first informed me the time I wanted was almost impossible. She kept me on the phone for 10 mins looking for an available time. I asked if they were a family dentistry. They dont see children until after 3 pm and was quick to inform me they do not cater to children and was very rude. What type of establishment can not even be considerate over the phone. I shudder to think of the treatment if you step into the office.
AMATEURS---AVOID AT ALL COST DO NOT let these people touch your or your kids' mouth. This place is all about up-selling you. They wanted to pull two of my teeth. I went to a real dentist, and he fixed them in two visits. Also, this place has a very high turnover rate. Their office staff is rude, unproffessional. In short, this place should be out of business and their licenses revoked. THE WORST.
no thx. i wish i read these reviews before going there. cause i agree with all of them, except for the one person who was happy with their service. long wait time. unenthusiastic individuals. and what appeared to be a money hungry group trying to max out every potential bill. but that's just my opinion. everyone should formulate their own. good luck! =)
WARNING Just to warn people that my experience at the Simi Dental Group next door to sharkey's was the worst one ever . The dentist about(30ish) was rude , pushy and disrespectful ; But so was the hygeinist who cleaned my teeth , who entered the room in a bad mood and did her job like an angry grandma clampett swatting flies . Maybe that is the way people from her middle east ( Iran possibly) are. thank you....anon.
not getting ripped off I would not ever ever recommend anyone go to this crooked dental group. I went in for a cleaning and was given a quote for over$5,000 for work on teeth that were in perfect shape. Beware of this office as they are hired and fired depending on the income and sales they make and are well known over Simi for their fraudulent business practices
STILL AN AWESOME OFFICE I found this office to be a great place. I read the reviews and had no intention of going to this office, but I broke a tooth and they were the only one's that could see me on such short notice. I found the entire staff very professional and helpful. It took a little longer to be seen, but I was an emergency add on.They took care of my problem and it cost me about what I expected. Our Family Loves Them! I LOVE THEM! This is the ONLY Orthodontist in Simi that actually gave us a full financial overview from start to finish. I'm on my 3rd child in braces there & we've had nothing but a great experience. Sorry to say, people, but dentistry is expensive - insurance or no insurance. I'm a dollars & cents person, so, I want the bottom line & Simi Dental did just that. They will work with you & break payments up over 4 months, too, if your insurance has minimal coverage or considers something "cosmetic". Go s... read more
HEED MY ORTHODONTIC WARNING WARNING FOR ORTHODONTICS . Firstly, my child has had braces on for five years because they change dentist every year. We are on our 4th, newly graduated USC orthodontist. That means,INEXPERIENCE, and the doctor LEARNS on your child. Each dentist "fixes" the problem the last dentist created. I went to a "real orthodontis" for my braces and had them off in under 2 years! My kid started at 10 and is now 15.
