Just wrapped up my 2nd appointment here. Easy to find, easy to schedule appts, lots of parking. Everyone in the office that I have interacted with has been friendly and professional. Both the doctor and PA that I have met with have been knowledgeable, caring, listened to me, and have tailored a plan to get my migraines under control. Highly recommend!!
This review considers SIMED Neurology but is intended for SIMED Imaging. I am a teacher, I have limited sick leave and last year I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. I was referred to Neurology after 6 months of chemo due to chemo fall out and numbness in my extremities. Due to the lack of available Neurologists in the area, I had to wait four months before I was seen by a Neurologist. I waited about 6 months for my initial appointment but needed sooner. Came for my appointment (an hour drive) and my GPS took me to a neighborhood so I immediately called and explained. I finally got to the right location (17 minutes late) but they wouldn’t see me. They said I could get another appointment for 6 months later?!?! I’ll be going elsewhere.
We will never be returning to SIMEDHealth Neurology, for countless reasons. To name a few - we were told a serious diagnosis over the phone by the doctor's medical assistant Meredith, not the doctor. She was unable to answer any reasonable questions and only was able to tell us that she would try to pass the questions to the doctor but that we would have to wait for a follow up that was scheduled for three months from then. Rude and unprofessional front office staff. Cannot even answer a simple question. Will not be scheduling due to these 3 separate interaction over the phone.
