Cecilia, a tax preparer started out well by finding 2 errors from a previous CPA, but then proceeded to "assume" charging for phone calls was something I agreed upon. I was told at initial meeting my basic return could cost up to $1,000. After paying $865, I received a second invoice for $945 to amend the return to correct the errors.
