I'll start off by saying that I'm a dedicated Tajima fan...that being said, Silver Lake definitely satisfied my Tonkatsu Ramen and Pork Bun craving while at UTC. The service was excellent, the facility was clean, and the food was flavorful and cooked right. The pork belly had that slight crispy skin without being dried out and the housing mayo was delightful. Pretty good ramen overall! The broth was rich and savory without being too heavy, so I didn’t feel overly full or greasy afterward. The noodles had a nice texture and weren’t soggy at all. The pork was tender with a slightly crispy exterior, which I really enjoyed. The fried gyoza was also delicious—the skin was nice and crispy, while the filling was flavorful and aromatic. The chicken karaage was pretty good as well. Overall, a satisfying ramen meal and definitely worth trying!
