02/18/26 Update. Our big thanks to the awesome Silverado staff Peter, the Nexxus Director, Mia the Food/Dietary Director and their team members who helped our friend at Silverado celebrate her 85th birthday with a wonderful party and amazing cake. Our friend was so happy with her community, and so different than living an isolated life at her home. We have nothing but praise for the staff of Silverado Beach Cities. Everybody goes out of their way to be helpful. I want to give a specific “shout out” for Eli. Eli is the young man that answers the phone when you call and is the one that greets you when you come into the office. Eli is the “face of Silverado” as he is the one that is often your first point of contact with Silverado, and in this capacity he is always very helpful and creates a great impression for Silverado.
I can’t sing the praises of Silverado Beach Cities highly enough. Every staff member has been educated in memory care and treat the residents with dignity and respect. They offer a wide variety of engaging activities and experiences specifically designed to slow down memory loss, while making it fun. Life is celebrated at Silverado. My pop-pop is at Silverado for his dementia, and honestly, his first week there has been incredible. He's been more responsive than he has in months. Huge thanks to Silverado for everything!
