SO sorry to see Silver Tips Tea Room close down. It has been my go-to place for a wonderful lunch, and have always thought of it as the quintessential Tarrytown business. The tea business will still exist and people can still order tea, but I will miss the scones, the best egg salad on the planet and that salad dressing!!!! The staff is wonderful, especially Jackie. I wish them all the best.

Lovely Tea Shoppe in Tarrytown! I've haven't been in a many years and was pleased to see they expanded. Teas and sandwiches were excellent as always. We had a sweetest server who had a constant smile with efficient service. Truly a gem in Tarrytown! �
Love the organic earl grey tea. Shared a samosa appetizer and it was yummy. Breading fresh with veges inside with a little kick. Wonderful scone with jam and clotted cream which is worth the calories
Charming tea shop, very friendly staff, decent food, awesome teas. There are a couple of blends from Silver Tips that I can't live without! They sell small bric-a-brac as well; I got a lovely set of Moroccan tea glasses there on one of my visits. The area itself is also beautiful to wander around in, lots of shops, tree-lined streets, and a riot of gorgeous plants and flowers everywhere. Well worth the trip. Don't put the tea cozies on your head! :D
My sister and I are trying to go to all of the Tea houses that we can find. Silver Tips Tea was a nice place. Their prices were good, their sandwiches were good and a wide variety of Tea. We did the afternoon tea and the afternoon deluxe and shared everything. Prices are good and definitely would go again.
