I have been renting with Silver Star Properties for over 12 years. Yes, 12 years! I appreciate how responsive they are when I encounter issues. If my fridge won’t shut right, they fix it. If a lightbulb is out, they fix it. If the paint in my apartment is chipped, they fix it. They have been extremely fair in terms of rent increases and are adamant about maintaining a clean building that is safe and secure for everyone. I have been a resident in one of their buildings for nearly a year. Do not rent from these people! Their disorganization is laughable. Three separate times, they have attempted to double invoice us for rent. Meaning they claimed we had not paid rent, although we had paid it in full. Silverstar even threatened late rent fees. Either they were trying to scam us, or are ridiculously unorganized. Either way they cannot be trusted. Not to mention the disrespectful staff! I have been a tenant for years in NYC under this group and I have to say, after being a New Yorker my whole life, this is management group is what keeps me staying in my home. Whenever there has been anything I needed, they were tentative and on top of communicating every step of the way. Only the best, just the way New York living should be
We are recent tenants. Had some normal move in issues. We requested a super visit and he was punctual and finished the punch list promptly.
