I sent my 2017 gle350 to replace the engine mount and transmission mount. The work is doing great and they only use oem parts is what I am looking for. The reason why lost one star is why you guys reset my trip?!!! THE TRIP IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME! The trip reset happen after replace the mount and before gave me the car.
We have been going here for years. I would trust Peter and whatever he says. They only do what’s required. Nothing extra. They will accommodate you if there is an emergency. His entire team are kind and helpful. I find their prices to be very reasonable.
Peter knows Mercedes like nobody else. We've been taking our cars there for maintenance and service for 20 years. He's meticulous, reasonable, and doesn't overcharge. He's taken such great car of our cars!!
I have a 2007 Mercedes Diesel 320, and I took it to a shop to resolve a transmission issue. After paying $2,000 for the repairs, I encountered transmission problems again in less than a month. I assumed their work came with a guarantee, but Mr. Peter informed me that this was a different fault and I would need to pay for repairs again. I can buy a used transmission for about $1,000, but I believe it's better to choose a proper repair.
Peter is an honest shop owner and has techs who know what they are doing. Peter's crew did a complete transmission fluid replacement on my C55 AMG for a fair price, and, although the C55 was totaled and I didn't have any chance to bring it back to Silver Star for service, on numerous occasions Peter discussed potential trouble areas with my car over the phone and was kind enough to do this without complaining or being short.
