Great place! I left a message with the answering service over the weekend and they called back 7 minutes later. Always take their time in checkups.
Today at a sick visit I mentioned to the doctor that we had moved to this practice 17 years ago when my eldest was a newborn. Our prior pediatrician had told me as a new mom that I asked too many questions. At our first visit to Silver Spring Peds, the doctor literally opened with, "what questions do you have?" and I almost cried with gratitude. After 15+ years of bringing my kids, boy and girl, to this practice Im sad to see it almost end. We have been coming here since they were in the other office across the street. My kids are aging out of the peds office into their adulthood. These docs have been great throughout their childhood. The docs respond to messages in a timely and personal matter. Dr. Ye nearly cost my son his life with her negligence in caring for him when he was suffering with pneumonia. She knew he had a fever for nearly a week. Heard him wheezing. Saw how he was barely coherent enough to stand up on his own. Have our family the advice to go home and “wait it out” for two more days. Had I taken that advice, I could not imagine the devastation my family would have experienced.
