Just visited Silver Spring and spoke to Lucy. Great facility and hopefully a place for my mom. Also this facility is not an assisted living. It is a great retirement facility.
I have lived here for nearly 4 years and love it here! Anytime I have any problems the maintenance man (Eugene) is always here to help. He always goes above and beyond to help! The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they also go above and beyond to have fun activities Monday though Friday. ALL Holidays and Birthdays are celebrated to the fullest. Silver Spring Is A Wonderful Senior Living Place In Forney Texas. There are all kinds of activities planned each month and always good times and good food.
My dad absolutely loves this place & the people. They have become family to him, including the office staff. They are always doing something and, based on some of the stories, it sounds like they're reliving some of their glory days. I don't think they are ever bored! This is active senior living at its finest!
My mom has had nothing but trouble with her air in her apartment. The fan went out and that took 3-4 days to fix and then them fixing it caused the compressor to burn up, that's a good AC man, and it still isnt fixed. My mom has COPD and cannot set in the heat all day. The management has not done one thing to help her or even offered to help, all they said was "Sorry".
