My girlfriend and I were in Lancaster and I was looking at the map that comes with the Discover Lancaster magazine when I saw Silver Spring Family restaurant. So we googled it and decided to give it a try. She got the open faced hot roast beef sandwich with french fries and gravy. She loved it. I got the special Delmonico steak it was loaded with onions, mushrooms. Cheddar cheese and Bbq sauce omg was that yummy! Had a great breakfast there yesterday and I would go back.
I absolutely love this place! The entire staff is wonderful, and makes you feel welcome. I got my late breakfast (French Toast & Bacon!) to go today, and it was just as delicious as if I were in the restaurant! It's a great place for any meal! I work local and always recommend you guys to guests!
Every year I look forward to the month of December and the gingerbread pancakes. These are my favorite!! I try to go out as often as possible when they have them. Also love the fact that they have turkey bacon. I have not found any other restaurant that has turkey bacon.

RecommendedWe are from out of town and my mom just so happened to come across this place on Google. We liked it so much we ate breakfast there two mornings in a row. Coffee was great. Pancakes and waffles were fluffy and huge. My kids (8 and almost 2) loved the whipped cream addition. My dad, who can be finicky about his bacon and eggs, loved both! Both were done to his liking.
