Way to expensive. They want $25 for a 16oz Shine and Jam. That's diabolical lol. The owner, or whoever was behind the register seemed a little standoffish, but the staff stocking the shelves was helpful.
The store has decent prices overall, but it felt a bit disorganized. It took a while to find what I needed, and the layout could definitely use some improvement. My biggest issue was the $6 credit card surcharge — there were no signs posted anywhere about this extra fee, so it caught me off guard at checkout. Just a heads-up to bring cash if you stop by.
An ok store. They will follow you around the store and I still decided to purchase. It’s right in my neighborhood so I’ll be back and I’m going to take pictures and videos of being followed around. Once I pulled my phone out she stopped following me and turned around.
Worst customer service. Especially the lady at the front desk.
Black women, believe the reviews. They certainly have inventory. But the store is extremely disorganized, and they really don’t want black women to shop there. Today I was comparing two colors of braiding hair trying to choose which one I wanted, and the guy trailing me actually came and put the products I had in front of me away without even asking.
