Honest Repair Shop! – I am a female who has used Silver Spring Automotive for the past 5 years and have experienced honesty and integrity every time. I had always been skeptical of auto repair shops. However, I was referred to Silver Spring Auto by a friend and have taken 2 of my cars there over the years and my daughter's car. My sister now takes her car car there too. Disappointing experience – My first visit was for a complimentary oil change and will be my last visit. Shop attempted to inform me that I needed brakes replaced and did not respond well when I advised them I did not need brake work. What they didn't realize is that I sat in front of the bay door to watch the work completed on my vehicle and noticed that they never removed the tires from my car. I think removing the tires kind of goes hand in hand with looking at the brakes, guys.
