Fun place with great staff, comfortable well decorated rooms, convenient location, pet friendly and kind on the budget
Won't stay anywhere else in Santa Fe if I can help it.
Wonderful kitschy motel right on Old 66. The owner and desk clerks were helpful and charming.
Best place to stay in Santa Fe....it's charming, comfortable, clean, well-located, and a delight. We would be disappointed if we couldn't stay here! I give it five stars plus!
Perfection. Great price, convenient location, a ton of whimsy, and a super helpful and generously cool staff. (I stayed in the Calamity Jane room. Pow, pow.) If you're looking for quality with your simplicity, it's here.
The Silver Saddle was a trip down memory lane, all the cool cowboy stuff I had as a kid, different icons, pictures, wagons, books etc. Route 66 at its best. It reminded me of my friend Phil Rupp's house ... a cowboy's museum. Nice comfortable room and friendly people. I recommend it highly. When you're in Santa Fe, the Silver Saddle Motel is the place to stay.
You have just gotta love this place! The owner and staff are the very best! They are very knowledgable about the area. Rates are reasonable. Located on Cerrillos Rd. Go 3.6 miles northeast on it to Santa Fe Plaza (just 2 turns). Go southwest on it and it becomes Hwy 14, also known as the Turquoise Trail. Then there are the western theme room decorations, the autographed photos of Chuck Norris and Clint Eastwood, and finally the grounds are beautifully landscaped.
Silver Saddle Motel has a 4.6 star rating with 672 reviews.
