This rental is one room in a much larger building of 9 separate rooms. Each has its own separate listing on Vrbo. I highly recommend looking them up on Google for reviews. They operate under several names including "June Lake Chalet", "Silver Pines Lodge", and "June Lake Lodge." BAD review: Please see below for evidence of the Terrible VRBO experience with Silver Pines Chalet and Host Patricia +checked in at 4pm and room was not ready. Room was Extremely Cold and Missing items i.e. no towels, no paper towels, no sponges, no toaster, no microwave, etc +I immediately told Patricia (the Host) the room was too cold at check in. Patricia said she forgot to get room ready, she forgot to pre-warm the room, so she decided to put extra space heater (2 space heaters in tiny room = fire hazard) after 1 hour th... read more
WORST experience ever! Considering the regional stay home order, we called the host to confirm our reservation before the trip. After we drove for almost 4 hours, the host called us and cancelled our reservation! It was around 9PM and we could not find any other place to stay in the same area. We had to cancel our entire trip and head back when we were not far from the destination. This last minute notice is totally beyond understanding. If you don’t want to be as disappointed as me, DO NOT book this place ever!
NEVER stay here. We reserved 4 nights and the day before our trip, we were told we could only stay for 3 nights even though we prepaid for all 4 nights. 14 months later...I still haven't received my refund!!! Patricia does not care about customers at all.
