My mom lived at Silver Oaks for the last 5 years. She received excellent care and loving kindness at Silver Oaks from both the original owner Lorena Eckert, and Dr. Showah and his wife Wendy . I have been to multiple nursing homes, assisted living facilities and board care homes and Silver Oaks was best choice for my mom. It reminds me of the Golden Girl TV show with 6 ladies in a house with care takers there to help them when they need it. My mom was at Silver Oak for about two years until she passed and she received wonderful care. The owner and staff were so good to all of us. I have recommended them to others and I will continue to.
I have lived next door to Silver Oak Country Estates for 8 years now and am very impressed with the care givers and how well they take care of the residents. Lorena and her staff have created an environment that feels like a home and not a facility. Whenever I visit and talk to the families they always comment on how they feel so blessed and safe to have their loved one there. I would highly recommend Silver Oak to my friends and family that were searching for an assisted living home.
