Complaint filed at Silver Lake Hospital: To: Silver Lake Hospital I witnessed my friend ****** who was pinned down by the part time police officer of Hackettstown&works as a “security guard” at your facility. The night this incident occurred, the security guard got into a fight with a man on another unit and got beat down by a man he attempted to attack. My father was recently a patient at Silver Lake Ltach. He had a cardiac arrest and we were transferred here from University Hospital. He stayed here for 50 days. After so many complications from Open Heart Surgery they made sure that he will recover. He had a Peg tube and a trach. Every day we would be getting a phone call from either Tamara or Etiosa with updates. Our attending physician dr. Okoya was very knowledgeable, always provided answers. Thank you for all the care. Normally I wouldn’t share personal things like but I can’t thank and praise Silverlake Dual Diagnosis enough. A few months ago we were hopeless, draining our savings trying to save my family member with life long addiction and mental health issues. They went from suicidal addict to a completely changed person, holding a job and healthy. Silverlake changed our family for the best ! We are forever grateful.
THIS HOSPITAL SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN BY THE STATE! IT IS NOT A HOSPITAL OR AN ADDICTION RECOVERY TREATMENT FACILITY The social worker seems nice and to know her job, however does not do it.
