This is where the wealthy pay to hide out from their criminal acts. For the money, the docs will say you are crazy. Guess what....... the crazy do not take care of their own pets but let foster dogs starve to death as current patient, Heidi Lueders has done. This place is known to be a criminal's vacation spot, with fancy rooms and meals.
My overall experience with Silver Hill hospital was definitely not a pleasant one. From day one, the clinical treatment team treated me as if I was just an average parent. I am a licensed social worker myself and have some experience with another child who experienced mental health issues as an adolescent. My concerns were not listened to, the team contacted me 3x in the entire three week stay. I was kept in the dark during his entire stay. Excellent inpatient facility for those who need specialized mental health/recovery services. Warm and welcoming to family members.
