blissfully quiet new years in the woods with our reactive dog. special shout out for service above and beyond to chef Peter who got us into our cabin when we were locked out AND let us take breakfast back to our cabin (in fact, he delivered it) so we didn’t have to leave our dog in the freezing cold car. much love to the folks who run this resort.
Loved staying in this area. Stayed in a small cabin near the dining hall. Cabin was comfortable with shampoo, hair dryer, nice towels, coffee and coffee maker provided. Couldn't get reception on TV. The lodge area has a large lawn with various games set out for guest use. Staff was friendly and helpful. The setting of this lodge, within Silver Falls State park is lovely, with large trees and ferns, and, of course, the hiking trails to the beautiful water falls. The dining hall was wonderful. My family has been going regularly for decades. We love it there and the staff is very accommodating. The lodges are great for groups. We enjoy having our meals prepared for us. 😋 We continue to go even though all units (lodges & cabins) have pretty thin walls. The biggest draw back is that they closed the pool. We may look at going elsewhere due to this. Regardless, we love this park! It's so beautiful and well maintained.

We had an amazing time here! Great comfy tools, amazing food and incredible hikes!!! Every thing is very close. Marc and Lexi at the front reception area were both very friendly and they bent over backwards for us! Thanks guys! We will be back!
A call to arms my Oregon people! Call/email the local news stations/papers and contact the parks depart (Dennis Lucas 503-873-8681 ext. 22) and let them know that you oppose this back door deal! Feel free to share this post or make your own letting everyone know! So I finally got in contact with someone who knows what's going on with Silver Falls. I got a hold of the state park regional director and badgered him for about 30 minutes and foud out they are indeed trying to privatize portions of the park. I also found out there... read more
Went to a meeting at Silver Falls Conference Center tonight. What a beautiful drive to get there and the food by the onsite caterer was delicious. The room was very comfortable and looked really nice and everyone had a good time.
Our family had Easter Brunch there and what a Wonderful Suprise it was. Wonderful, fresh food, polite and welcoming service. Love the quaint atmosphere and the staff in the kitchen very attentive to the food. A well kept Secret for sure. We will be back.
