Lazy doctors, they just watch a nurse do the work and bill you twice. Garbage people.

Staff was friendly. My concern is that you tell a nurse practitioner that you have been coughing for over a week, and she only listens to your breathing. Whenever I have seen my primary care doctor for any illness she checks my ears, nose and throat. Not sure why this was not part of her exam but if you have to ask a nurse practitioner to do these things then are we being served well by nurse practitioners!!!!

Staff was very friendly. I went because I had a horrible cough for over a week and wanted to make sure it was nothing serious. She listened to my lungs but never looked at my ears, nose or throat! This tends to be standard in exams with primary care physicians, but a nurse practitioner doesn't do that even though it's that time of year for people to have allergy issues. I have been misdiagnosed previously when forced to see a nurse practitioner verses a doctor. Our health care system is at an all-time low when a nurse... read more

Awful place and terrible customer service. I called the emergency room to speak to my sister who was a patient there, easy enough no problems. I called back later to ask about transfer status for my sister since the previous nurse on the phone stated I could call back about her transfer time. The lady that picked up refused to let me speak to my sister or know her condition or where she’s going or to even see if my sister would give consent. Then after back and forth about “HIPA” which wasn’t being violated, I was then infor... read more

I was there in your emergency room for six hours waiting to be seen! I fell in pavilion B lot and was brought to the er by ambulance. I had a tennis ball size lump on my head and right elbow! After waiting with not seeing a doctor I left. The girl at the desk was very rude to my husband when he asked if she knew how much longer!!!! How could you possibly keep patients waiting for over six hours to be seen? Very disgusted with your emergency room! I wouldn’t bring a dog to your er!!

Literally sitting here after almost 7 hours…all for a potassium supplement and iv fluids. Would not recommend coming here if there is a choice. Little to no communication. Even amongst the staff. One nurse comes in to take vitals, not knowing that another was in 15 minutes prior having already taken them. Doc came in - seven hours in - and informed exactly what had been communicated three hours ago. The Exact. Same. Thing. What was thought to be an emergency could have been communicated otherwise six hours ago. Profits over ... read more

OMG dont bother getting the Caridac score done. You pay only $49 but good luck getting the results. They INSIST on sending it y=to your doctor DESPITE the fact you are paying for this and this has nothing to do with your doctor. Pay anothe $49 and go to Heart Check America where you get your score right safter the test. You go home with a nice pamphlet showing what your score is and what it means. I have a neighbor also who did this test at Silver Cross as well over 1 month ago and hes still trying to get someone to give him... read more

Silver Cross hospital takes no concern for the well-being of the patient. Went into ER for extreme headache, nausea, stiff neck, pressure, etc. explained this has been going on for 5 days. Sign said 4 hr wait then 6.5 hr wait. I watched people come and go while I was still waiting after 7 hrs. Went to check the status and was told I see you’ve been here the longest. Still not called after 7.5 hrs, went to let them know I was leaving (to get other help) and was told hope you feel better. What kind of statement is that? I did... read more

In early Nov. 2022 I spent 3 days at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, Ill after having hip replacement surgery. It was an experience that I will never forget. A young CNA who was assigned to my room couldn’t have been more rude and uncaring. First, she insulted me by whispering to herself, under her breath, that she would be glad when I would be gone. Second, and unbelievably, she took away my bed-stand urinal causing me to urinate on myself and all over the floor. Her reason for taking away the urinal was that “ she d... read more
