Awful place and terrible customer service. I called the emergency room to speak to my sister who was a patient there, easy enough no problems. I called back later to ask about transfer status for my sister since the previous nurse on the phone stated I could call back about her transfer time. The lady that picked up refused to let me speak to my sister or know her condition or where she’s going or to even see if my sister would give consent. I was there in your emergency room for six hours waiting to be seen! I fell in pavilion B lot and was brought to the er by ambulance. I had a tennis ball size lump on my head and right elbow! After waiting with not seeing a doctor I left. The girl at the desk was very rude to my husband when he asked if she knew how much longer!!!! How could you possibly keep patients waiting for over six hours to be seen? Very disgusted with your emergency room! I wouldn’t bring a dog to your er!!

Literally sitting here after almost 7 hours…all for a potassium supplement and iv fluids. Would not recommend coming here if there is a choice. Little to no communication. Even amongst the staff. One nurse comes in to take vitals, not knowing that another was in 15 minutes prior having already taken them. Doc came in - seven hours in - and informed exactly what had been communicated three hours ago. The Exact. Same. Thing. Silver Cross hospital takes no concern for the well-being of the patient. Went into ER for extreme headache, nausea, stiff neck, pressure, etc. explained this has been going on for 5 days. Sign said 4 hr wait then 6.5 hr wait. I watched people come and go while I was still waiting after 7 hrs. Went to check the status and was told I see you’ve been here the longest. In early Nov. 2022 I spent 3 days at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, Ill after having hip replacement surgery. It was an experience that I will never forget. A young CNA who was assigned to my room couldn’t have been more rude and uncaring. First, she insulted me by whispering to herself, under her breath, that she would be glad when I would be gone. I would give zero stars if I could. I went to the one on Rt. 30, in Mokena, when my doctor was on vacation. I told the nurse practitioner that I had a sinus infection and it was also bothering my neck. She did this exam and decided I did not have an infection. She also suggested that I had strained my neck, which I had not. Bottom line, I suffered another week until I could see my doc's NP, who said that my lymph nodes and glands were all swollen due to a sinus infection. 8 hours sitting in the waiting room with 60 plus people and I have COVID. NO SOCIAL DISTANCING!!!! They took my blood pressure etc and didn’t clean the cuff, let other people sit by me. I ask a nurse to take my blood sugar. I hadn’t eaten since noon. She ask me if I brought my own tester. Really!!!! This is suppose to be a hospital. I had back surgery in March of 2021 by Dr. M Khan, at Silver Cross. All the staff at Silver Cross Hospital were so kind and professional. I was on the 5th floor and in the inpatient rehab and again everyone was kind, and helpful. Dr. Khan's staff is amazing again very kind and took their time. Dr. Khan is amazing, he is so kind, personable and he is a miracle worker for me. I can not say anything bad about my experience.
