The SBDC is a truly great resource for anyone planning to start a small business or wanting help to improve an existing one. They provide extensive and diverse experience and expertise to all small business owners. I would not consider starting a small business in the Silver City area without meeting with them first.

The Small Business Development Center is a fantastic resource! Their staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I had very little knowledge of business when I began meeting with them. They've assisted me in several aspects of a business startup including development of a business model, legal structure (disclaimer: they don't provide legal advice, but they are familiar with various legal structures), marketing, etc. The SBDC is grant-funded, so this wonderful resource hasn't costed me a cent. The SBDC might be Southwestern New Mexico’s most valuable resource! Whether you’re thinking of starting a business, expanding your already successful business, or just a little unsure of your next steps, the staff here can help. If they don’t have the answers, they probably know who does. I can’t recommend this organization enough. Two thumbs up!

The SBDC is such a valuable piece of our community. They are so helpful in getting your business started, and are so knowledgeable and encouraging when it comes to keeping your business going. I am very grateful for the services they provide to me and many others in the community. Oh, and it's FREE!!!

We are so grateful to the staff at SBDC- Silver City! Helpful, informed, connected... a valuable resource when we were opening our business and an ongoing resource as we grow and evolve.
