Great resort. The road up and down is for the adventurious only. 22 MPH is a break neck speed on a one lane road, first gear only. Beautiful, worth it, consider moving pasengers to the non-cliff side of the car. The best of our door hiking with porcelain, a comfortable bed, a credible restaurant, andmbiance in spades. Established 1929 with settler history extending in to 1860s.

Construction noise at 7AM in the morning!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS?? This could be a great place to chill, relax and enjoy the view. We arrived at 8PM on the check in date and planed to enjoy the view on the next day but we had to wake up way earlier than we imagined from the construction noise. We hoped it would be finished soon but it still blaring continuously till we could not take it anymore and checked out way before noon. We had not drive 21 miles all the way up to the mountain and looking for this at all... How disappointed... read more

This place is amazing for a true outdoor family. If you don’t want to build your own fire or go hiking this place isn’t for you. If you love the mountains and a warm Bed this is hevean.
This place is amazing! It's a 'TURN BACK TIME' adventure when things were so much simpler, surrounded by the Beauty of nature that hasn't been spoiled. Where there are no TVs or blaring boom boxes blasting the neighborhood. When you want to warm your cabin, you get to with a wood burning stove. After a long hike you can come back to your and sit around a campfire and roast some marshmallows! This place is incredible and a true hidden gem.
