I am sharing an experience I had with Dr Silva's front desk receptionist. I have been coming here a long time and also my mother. There current receptionist literally said to me "every time you are rude". I have never been told this in my history of health care experiences. After calling to try and make an appointment I was met with "we don't have it, she's not available" instead of here's what is available. Not a good Doctor, my dad went to her for his whole life. My grandparents went to her. If someone is over 40 with diabetes you’re supposed to be checking for pancreatic cancer for preventative measures. My dad went to her with extreme weight loss back pain and other problems he couldn’t sleep lying down because of pain, he eventually wasn’t sleeping.. . All obvious signs something is very wrong and she brushed him off every time. This lady is obviously old and just doesn’t care anymore. She could have caught this much sooner... read more
I had a disappointing experience with the front desk at this clinic. The secretary came across as unfriendly and dismissive, and at times it felt like patients were being given a cold shoulder. It made an already stressful visit feel even more uncomfortable. It seemed like questions were brushed off rather than properly addressed. I understand that working in a medical office can be busy and demanding, but a little patience and kindness can go a long way in making patients feel welcomed and respected.
