I’ve just finished an investment build with Silkwood Homes, and honestly, the whole experience has been incredibly smooth. I’ve felt really well looked after the entire way through. Their communication has been excellent, which made everything so much easier and far more enjoyable than I expected. Even at handover, the maintenance and final checks were handled beautifully. Stay away from this builder. We got a house built in Toowoomba 3 years ago.The finishes were well below average. We have a concrete pad outside the side of the house from the Laundry and it’s pulled way from the building making it unsafe. The boundary-fence has fallen down. I’ve asked Silkwood Homes to come out and fix the issues they say it’s not their responsibility. Please say away from this Dodgy builder. I’m surprised I haven’t been on a current affair yet
Only positive experience from Silkwood homes. They are very efficient and have excellent communication throughout the building process. They built a fabulous duplex for me during COVID lockdown which i rented out immediately after completion. They also built an amazing NDIS property for me on the Sunshine Coast within time frame allocated and that was rented out very quickly as well. I highly recommend Silkwood homes.
